How To Use Spectate Mode On Your Palworld Server

This guide shows you how to use spectate mode on your Palworld server. Spectate mode allows you to observe gameplay without participating, which is perfect for monitoring players, recording footage, or moderating your server.
📝 Note: Spectate mode requires admin privileges. Make sure you have set an Admin Password in
Startupand authenticated in-game first.
Entering Spectate Mode
Connect to Your Server
Launch Palworld and connect to your server as you normally would.
Become an Admin
Open the chat and type /AdminPassword YourPassword to authenticate as an admin. You should see a confirmation message.
Toggle Spectate Mode
Press \ (backslash key) to enter spectate mode. Your character will become invisible and you can fly freely around the map to observe gameplay.
Alternatively, you can type /togglespectate in the chat to enable spectate mode.
💡 Tip: Press
Escto exit spectate mode and return to normal gameplay. While spectating, you cannot interact with the world or be seen by other players.
