How To Change The Collection Drop Rate On Your Palworld Server
Learn how to change the collection drop rate on your Palworld dedicated server. Multiply resource yields from trees, rocks, and other gatherable objects.
The collection drop rate controls how many resources players receive when gathering from trees, rocks, ores, and other objects in the world. Increasing this value is one of the most popular server tweaks, as it reduces the grind while still keeping the core gameplay loop intact.

How To Change The Collection Drop Rate
Open the XGamingServer panel
Access the XGamingServer panel and stop your Palworld server.
Go to Startup
In the sidebar, go to Startup.
Adjust the collection settings
Under the Gameplay section, edit the following settings:
- CollectionDropRate - Multiplier for resources gathered. Default is
1.0. Set to2.0for double resources,5.0for five times, etc. - CollectionObjectRespawnSpeedRate - Controls how fast resource nodes respawn. Default is
1.0. Higher values mean faster respawns.
💡 Tip: A common setup for boosted servers is
CollectionDropRate = 3.0withCollectionObjectRespawnSpeedRate = 2.0. This triples gathering yields and doubles respawn speed, keeping resources plentiful without making them feel infinite.
📝 Note: Setting
CollectionDropRateto very high values (10+) can cause inventory management issues since players will fill up quickly. Pair high rates with reasonable stack sizes for the best experience.
