How To Change The Equipment Durability Rate On Your Palworld Server
Learn how to change equipment durability rate on your Palworld dedicated server. Follow this guide to control how fast tools and weapons break during use.
The EquipmentDurabilityDamageRate setting controls how quickly your tools, weapons, and armor lose durability on your Palworld server. The default value is 1.0. Lower values make equipment last longer, while higher values cause it to break faster.
Changing Equipment Durability Rate
Open the XGamingServer panel
Access the XGamingServer panel and stop your Palworld server.
Go to Startup
In the sidebar, go to Startup.
Edit the EquipmentDurabilityDamageRate setting
Under the Gameplay section, find EquipmentDurabilityDamageRate and change the value. The default is 1.0 (normal durability loss).
Recommended values:

0.0 | Indestructible equipment (no durability loss) |
0.25 | Equipment lasts four times longer |
0.5 | Equipment lasts twice as long |
1.0 | Default durability rate |
2.0 | Equipment breaks twice as fast |
Restart your server
Start your server from the Console page to apply the changes.
💡 Tip: Setting this to
0.5is a popular choice for servers that want a balanced experience without constant repair trips. Setting it to0.0removes durability entirely, which works well for casual or creative-style servers.
📝 Note: This setting affects all equipment types including tools, weapons, and armor. It does not affect Pal Sphere durability.
