How To Change Loot Drop Rates From Enemies On Your Palworld Server
Learn how to change the enemy drop rate on your Palworld dedicated server to boost loot drops from defeated enemies, wild Pals, and bosses.
The EnemyDropItemRate setting controls the multiplier for items dropped by defeated enemies, wild Pals, and bosses on your Palworld server. The default value is 1.0. Increasing this value means enemies drop more loot per kill, which is great for faster progression or more rewarding combat.
Changing Enemy Drop Rate
Open the XGamingServer panel
Access the XGamingServer panel and stop your Palworld server.
Go to Startup
In the sidebar, go to Startup.
Edit the EnemyDropItemRate setting
Under the Gameplay section, find EnemyDropItemRate and change the value. The default is 1.0 (normal drops).
Recommended values:

1.0 | Default drop rate |
2.0 | Double drops |
5.0 | Five times the drops |
10.0 | Generous loot for casual play |
Restart your server
Start your server from the Console page to apply the changes.
⚠️ Warning: Very high drop rates combined with a high
DropItemMaxNumcan degrade server performance as more items accumulate on the ground. Consider adjusting your dropped item limits alongside this setting.
💡 Tip: This setting pairs well with adjusting the XP rate for a faster overall progression experience.
