How to Connect to Your Palworld Server
Step-by-step guide to join your Palworld dedicated server from PC, Xbox, or PS5 using direct IP or the community server browser.
Here's how to connect to your Palworld server from PC or console. PC players can connect directly using the server IP, while Xbox and PS5 players connect through the community server browser.
PC Players
Find your server IP
Log in to the XGamingServer panel and copy your server IP address from the Dashboard sidebar.
Open Palworld
Launch Palworld and click Join Multiplayer Game.
Enter your IP address
At the bottom of the screen, you'll see a field showing 127.0.0.1:8211. Replace this with your server IP address.
Xbox and PS5 Players
Console players connect through the community server browser by searching for your server name.
Set a unique server name
Log in to the XGamingServer panel and go to Startup. Set a unique Server Name that you can easily search for, then restart your server.
Open the server browser
In Palworld, select Join Multiplayer Game, then select Community Servers.
Enable version filter
Check the box Display servers with different versions to make sure your server appears.
Search and connect
Search for your server name in the search box at the top. Once found, select your server to connect.
💡 Tip: Console players can also connect by searching for their server IP address instead of the server name.
Troubleshooting
If your server doesn't appear in the browser, try these steps in order. Test after each step:
- Make sure you've set a unique server name in
Startupand restarted - Wait at least 60 seconds after restarting for the server to fully register
- Enable Display servers with different versions in the browser
- Double-check you're on the Community Servers tab
- Try a shorter, simpler server name
- Restart Palworld completely
