How To Change The Maximum Guild Bases Allowed On Your Palworld Server
Learn how to change max guild bases on your Palworld dedicated server. Follow this guide to control the maximum number of bases each guild can build and operate.
The BaseCampMaxNumInGuild setting controls how many bases each guild can build and maintain on your Palworld server. The default value is 4. More bases means guilds can spread out across the map and specialize different bases for different resources.
Changing Max Bases Per Guild
Open the XGamingServer panel
Access the XGamingServer panel and stop your Palworld server.
Go to Startup
In the sidebar, go to Startup.
Edit the BaseCampMaxNumInGuild setting
Under the Bases & Guilds section, find BaseCampMaxNumInGuild and change the value. The default is 4.
Recommended values:
| Value | Effect |
|---|---|
1 - 3 | Restrictive, forces strategic base placement |
4 | Default |
5 - 8 | More flexibility for guilds |
10 | Vanilla maximum |
Restart your server
Start your server from the Console page to apply the changes.
📝 Note: The vanilla maximum is
10bases per guild. Values above10require mods to function properly. Each additional base adds load to the server, so keep server performance in mind when increasing this limit.
💡 Tip: Consider adjusting this alongside the max workers per base setting to control overall server load from guild bases.
