How To Change The Supply Drop Span On Your Palworld Server

This guide shows you how to change the supply drop frequency on your Palworld server. Supply drops contain valuable resources and appear periodically across the map, giving players an incentive to explore and compete for loot.

The default interval is 180 minutes (3 hours), but you can reduce this for more frequent supply drops or increase it for rarer spawns.

Changing Supply Drop Settings

Stop Your Server

Open Startup Settings

In the sidebar, go to Startup.

Edit SupplyDropSpan

Under Gameplay, find the SupplyDropSpan setting. Change the value to your desired frequency in minutes.

Here are some common values:

30 -- Very frequent drops (every 30 minutes)
60 -- Frequent drops (every hour)
180 -- Default (every 3 hours)
360 -- Rare drops (every 6 hours)

Start Your Server

Click Start to apply the new supply drop settings.

💡 Tip: On PvP servers, more frequent supply drops create contested hotspots that encourage player encounters. On PvE servers, you may want to keep the default or increase the interval so drops feel more rewarding.

📝 Note: Supply drops spawn at fixed locations across the map. Changing the interval only affects how often they appear, not where they spawn.
