Error! app '2394010' state is 0x6 after update job

Sometimes when you try to manually update your Palworld server, it will get stuck with the error Error! app '2394010' state is 0x6 after update job.

To fix this, stop your server, go to Files in the sidebar, delete the steamapps folder, then restart your server. The server will re-download the necessary files on the next boot.

⚠️ Warning: Do not do this if you are self-hosting locally through the Steam library, as it may delete your game installation files.

"Connection timed out" When Connecting to Your Palworld Server

First, ensure your server is currently turned on. If Palworld has just received an update and you have mods installed, your server may be crashing due to incompatible mods.

To check if your server is crashing, look at your server's CPU usage or type info into the server Console. If your CPU usage is very low or you do not get a successful response from info, your server is not starting properly. Create a backup using Backups in the sidebar, then update or remove your mods/UE4SS to fix the issue.

If your server is running but you still get "Connection timed out", this is most likely because you are trying to connect via the Recent Servers tab. This tab can have issues, and you should connect directly using the IP address every time.

This error can also occur if someone in your guild leaves while other players who were connected to the server are offline. This can sometimes be fixed if the player rejoins the guild. Otherwise, you may need to reset your world.

Connecting anonymously to Steam Public...Retrying

The Retrying issue is caused by Steam connectivity issues. Due to the popularity of Palworld, this can sometimes happen. To bypass this, go to Startup in the sidebar and disable Automatic Updates.

You will also have trouble connecting to your server during Steam outages. You may need to wait 5-10 minutes to reconnect. Steam performs routine maintenance on Tuesdays.
