How To Enable Or Disable Fast Travel On Your Palworld Server
Learn how to enable or disable fast travel on your Palworld dedicated server. Control whether players can teleport between discovered locations.
Fast travel allows players to instantly teleport between previously discovered Great Eagle Statues and other fast travel points. Disabling it forces players to traverse the world on foot or by riding Pals, creating a more immersive survival experience.

How To Change Fast Travel Settings
Open the XGamingServer panel
Access the XGamingServer panel and stop your Palworld server.
Go to Startup
In the sidebar, go to Startup.
Configure fast travel
Under the Gameplay section, adjust the following setting:
- bEnableFastTravel - Set to
Trueto allow fast travel, orFalseto disable it entirely.
📝 Note: Without fast travel, players must walk or ride Pals to reach distant locations. This encourages exploration and makes the world feel much larger, but can be frustrating on big maps. Consider your server's playstyle before disabling it.
💡 Tip: If you want a compromise, keep fast travel enabled but limit it to base camps only by also setting bEnableFastTravelOnlyBaseCamp to
True. This allows players to teleport home but requires them to travel by Pal to reach other locations.
Restart your server
Start your server from the Console page to apply the changes.
